Content Creator (Part-time/Freelance)


Job Description:

Intern (3-4 days per week), Hybrid (in-office and remote) 

Nous is seeking a dynamic, engaged and motivated Content Creator to join our team for a three-month internship, with the possibility of being hired full-time. The ideal candidate will have a combination of creativity, adaptability, and a passion for storytelling. During the internship, you will develop strong communication abilities and teamwork-building skills as you work with various team members.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Produce content for social media

  • Storyboarding and managing high-quality photo/video social media content (posts, short videos, reels, stories) and web content,
    developing content strategies and helping perform market analysis, as well as harvesting Instagram trending video ideas.

  • Pitch ideas and work closely with the marketing team to identify the latest trends and track the performance of campaigns.

  • Rich understanding of social media trends and the latest apps including Xiaohongshu, Douyin/Tiktok, Instagram etc.

  • Plan and edit high-quality and engaging short-form videos and still posts.

  • Leverage current social media trends, including visuals, catchy captions, transitions and audio in the content you create.

Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented and social media savvy.

  • A curated collection of Reels, Stories, and Post ideas.

  • Time Management: the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.

  • Understanding of Content-Creating Apps and how to create trending content for social media.

  • Currently undergoing or completing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field are welcome.

  • Fluent in English and Cantonese (Mandarin proficiency is a plus).
