Video Editor (INTERN)

Job Description

Intern (3 days per week), Hybrid (in-office and remote) 

Nous is seeking a talented video editor to join our team for a three-month internship, with the possibility of being hired full-time. The ideal candidate will be driven, eager to learn, adaptable and possess a can-do attitude. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment while contributing to exciting projects. This internship position will enhance your proficiency in using editing software focused on creating social media content and mastering video editing techniques.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality, fast pace and engaging videos.

  • Leverage current social media trends, including visuals, catchy captions, transitions and audio in the content you create.

  • Work closely with the content-creating team, assisting with post-production editing of social media-focused content.

  • Cutting, sequencing, and transitioning to create seamless and impactful videos for a modern audience and the digital landscape.

  • Craft narratives through visual storytelling, understanding how to evoke emotions and engage audiences effectively.

Requirements:

  • Video Editing skills, including experience with mobile phone-focused editing software such as CapCut, Snapseed, Unfold and Lightroom.

  • Video Colour Grading, entry level ( Graphics skills, such as Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus).

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Currently undergoing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field are welcome.
